VE + nitrous = nothing but grin. They love it. 100 shot all damn day. We've pushed stock VE's on 150-175 shot through bottles of the smack.

A quick way to check plug wires is to start the engine in a very dark place and look for electrical arcing between the wires.

94 use 2 different rotors, before 2/94 use the 10"(258mm) while the 2-94+ use the 278mm rotors.

You have the right size rotor (258mm) and the right year Maxima caliper (1992-1994) so I wonder if the previous Maxima owner didn't do some sort of swap or upgrade to the brackets and or calipers. ...

i welded a bolt head onto the end of the fill bolt...made it easy
