Many guys run their VE swaps on stock DE ECU's and dont damage the engine.
The only thing you need to change is the MAF and coolant temp sensor. These have to match the ECU.

those lnf's are nice engines. i use to have a cobalt running one with like 19lbs of boost on normal pump gas and that thing was crazy fun.
some guys would run 30lbs on the stock turbo and ended...
