Hard to say, best bet would be to try it out

.

What I did in the end is, remove the bypass, and install an old O2 sensor, then add a resistor to the signal line.

I do have to ask though, what size resistor you ran doing it this way?

Removed those steps they don't apply. Keep the white wires connected the way they are.
