2.5" outlet
somehow the idle got screwy. it starts out right @ what i have it set for in TunerPro (900 rpm). but, as the coolant temp increases, so does the idle speed to around 1400rpm. i was thinking it's a vacuum leak. so i replaced ALL the vac lines with new silicon hoses...no effect.
then i sprayed starting fluid around the flanges of the i/m and t/b with the engine running....no effect.
tps is .46v closed
iacv is fully closed
throttle cable has a little slack
sheeit! i don't wanna pull the i/m for no reason but i guess that's next,....
other than that, the engine runs ok. it pulls pretty strong on the small lobes. @ 6k it feels way better than i remember the old 2.0.
of course, it doesn't have the bottom end grunt of the 2.4 either
with only 20 miles on it, i haven't hit the big lobes yet. just been increasing the throttle position and revs during it's 50 mile break-in period.

Did you check for leaks between TB/MAF?

yep. found 1 little rubber cap that was cracked, replaced them all (4). no change.
s/b...i have another idea...
was burping the cooling system (wire under cap disc) earlier. hopefully all those bubbles in the overflow bottle were supposed to be there. i let her cool down and will try again tomorrow.

Ric reset the ecu. I've had two VEs do goofy high idle sh!t. One on initial startup and one after making multiple changes and reset ecu fixed it. Also set timing using timing mode. GL.
