
So besides all the theories on plenum sizes, entry angles, runner lengths, tapers, diameters, round vs oval etc etc etc. What are the highlights of practical VE intake learnings from members who have used custom intakes to date? ,
I'm aiming for about 2.2-2.5L plenum volume, 55-50mm-port matched ID runners, velocity stacks, ~8"+ runner length head to stack entry. Keen to hear what worked/didn't work for others.
I am also considering a dual plenum /diffuser chamber style intake in order to improve equal air distribution, but there is very little info on this (especially for n/a applications). My first stumbling block is that one paper will say the slot needs to equal 85% of the TB area and another states 110%.
