Regrettably, yes. I'm going to test cortrim1's rods and see.

Anyone have rod measurements that I can compare to?

Throw your crank and rods away now.

All you are going to do is keep making everything worse.

This is the 4 crank. All motors were running/no issues. I think I'm getting new rods/ pistons as that's the only issue.

You realize you are taking parts from multiple motors that were never assembled together? This means they may have different sized bearings. you need to take the motor to the machine shop and have them check EVERYTHING. You will be lucky at this point to not have damaged anything.

By you asking this question, means you do not understand. you can assume all of this stuff, and you did. But obviously something is not right and nothing short of having everything measured will solve your problem.

Well excuse me!

I found out what the issue was.
The machine shop took too much material off when honing the rods.

After all my measurements, I will need .25 over bearings or new rods.

I will use the rods my buddy Cortrim1 is donating to me, and measure again before assembly.

Thanks for all the advice so far, negative or positive.

Why dont you just buy a new set of rods and pistons? I understand they cost money, but how much have you wasted with all of these used parts? Sorry, if I have had this kinda luck with these parts this many times, I would not waste anymore money and buy new parts.

Yea $800 shipped for cp pistons and Manley rods sounds in my range.

I just spend my bonus check on the 6262 and fuel setup.

I guess I just dont see the logic in buying a nice fuel set up and nice turbo onto an engine that is put together with used parts. It would be a little different if you were running a T25 and just throwing together a car, but this is not the case with this engine. And this is not meant to sounds smart assy, I am just being real with you and have been there and done that with what you are doing.
