Block Machining Question
This is my first rebuild so i need some advice.

My block is in the machine shop and they reported back with what they found. The cylinders are 3 thousands over and there are a few rust pits in the walls. He said one of the pits could be trouble, the rest are not bad.

What do you suggest i do? Over bore? or just hone? I planned on N1 pistons /w factory rings.

You can get the pistons slightly overbore if I recall correctly. If so, order up the oversized n1s and then you can have them bore accordingly..

Yep, should be able to get the n1's in 20 thousanths oversize i believe and you would just need your block bored and honed to match. Pretty simple.
