lol me to!

they are back up for sale, im not going lower then 350, they were 400.. i think 50 off for the minor damage is fair, they will work perfectly fine.

Lol. Well I'm glad nothing too bad happened to the motor anyway. As you may or may not remember I have a history with finding weird stuff underneath my valve cover!

dude guess what came to mind when i found that metal thing? That thread. lol

i've had the valve cover off a few times due to a leak, then painted it.. then it leaked so had it off again.. everytime im like WOW this shits SO CLEAN! i never imagined finding that..

i checked every shim, rocker, spring u name it.. lol

Theses SR motors are tough, that's for sure.

I agree with Blackwater as well. Must have been too much power and the N1's couldn't keep up!!

just so you guys know the reason they are still for sale has absolutely nothing to do with the damage, the person changed their mind on what they wanted to do, i knew this before even takin them out.

Ive seen that on a couple cams. All i can say is probably a manufacturing defect. Dont see if often enought to say its one thing or another. Unless the distributors are slightly different lengts so when using a b13 or b14 distributor modified that when you tighten it down its pushing against the cam some. But it doesnt appear to be doing that when you install it so who knows. All i know is i havent seen a de/det cam do that, only ve cams.

A set of franklin Stage 3's, n1 equivelent and saw it on a set of stock ve cams as well.
