50mm itb help
Hi guys, need some help

Had ZERO luck in finding someone willing to part with a 30deg adapter plate to bolt on my throttle bodies

So custom fabrication will be the way to go me thinks

Anybody got some dimension for the intake side of a 16ve VVL head?

At the moment they look like this

and I need to make them look like this

Ive got the cnc pattern for that adapter.

Already fitted it to two VVL heads here locally.

Thats what im talking about!

I envy you guys, soon enough i will be fabricating an itb set up for my car too. What bodies are each of u using? Interested to see others designs, if i can see the benifit of it im leaning towards the idea of tumble throttles rather than butterflys to run a bit smaller diamiter for a little more velocity.

update:

found this on ebaySR20VE NEO VVL INTAKE MANIFOLD FLANGE SER DATSUN 1200 | eBay UK

I was thinking to use this and port match the throttles onto the plate
thoughts?

It can be done but as you would have a RHD the brake booster is in the way and therefore the 30 degree angled adaptor. You also need to have the shape of the throttle on the side where the throttle bolt up to maximise flow. Remember that you want to fit these throttles upside down, meaning the injectors will be located at the bottom and will face the valves
I had one of these adaptors flow tested and with the throttles bolted up, ended up loosing only 2 1/2% flow.
