stummped......ve not starting
my problem- car wont start, cranks over but doesnt start, wtf,i just drove it here....

i decided to check out my plugs and see how they looked after a year of use then after that, my car isnt staring,....went bought new plugs, gapped to .44.....not starting

then poked around some more found some plugs not connevcted

found some plugs not plugged in in the bay cant tell what the hell they go to...1 has to be for a knock sensor, which hasnt been plugged in as long as i can remember....but the others idk....i plugged in one loose one into the knock sensor thinking that might help and the car woulkd start.....no start, just cranking

heres 2 plugs-throttle body side of harness-under manifold-tb side(the 2 plugs left of the starter)

a better veiw from up top

imn trying t post another PB is being gey..

The knock sensor plug has a weird clip/pin looking thing to lock it in place. On my ve swap there were 2 extra plugs not connected that were for the egr, but im not sure if its the same on the obd1 harness. I would check your grounds on the tranny, and chassis to make sure they are good.

Ok I saw th knock sensor plug...it only had one terminal.....

My solution.....was Blown fuel pump fuse under the dash, wtf, hows does that happen.......weird.

Its fixed and now runs with new plugs.....

I wonder if you shorted something out when you were working on it.

Those two plugs look like your transmission neutral safety and reverse light switch plugs (the ones you have pictured by the starter)

If they are connected on the same piece of harness then yes they are those plugs. If the oval looking clip (light grey) is not on the same piece of harness that the black one is on then that is your coil connector. Should have a thicker black w/red stripe wire on one end and a thick green on the other.

The reverse light switch and coil share the same looking plug. Way to tell is the wire colors and thickness and where they are positioned on the harness.

Pull those two plugs back onto the trans side and take a look at them.

Edit: saw that you got it started. Again if you didnt figure it out those two plugs are for your transmission neutral and reverse lights switches.
