my one ended up at roughly about 1055mm flange to flange, these are very rough measurements but i'll get better ones next time i'm at the garage and i have the micrometer with me

the primaries are
42mm i/d for 255mm (1.65" for 10")
45mm i/d for 195mm ( 1.77" for 7.67"]
48mm i/d for 205mm ( 1.88" for 8.07")
first merge is 110mm long (4.33")
secondaries
51mm i/d for 210mm ( 2.0" for 8.26")
merge is 80mm long (3.14")
flange is 65mm i/d which is 2.5"

Happyharry, for the big tube tri-y dimension, did you miss typed? Did you mean to say O.D (Outside Diameter) instead of I.D (Inside Diameter)? I got the same measurements for my tri-y but it was O.D

Read this entire post. Can someone clear this up for me. when useing the 4:1 gsr header and not the 4:2:1will the primaries clear the engine accessories without modification? ie alternator, ac.

Agent Nupe there is no 4 1 header in this convo only tri y, and yes when customizing you can make it clear.

Usually you'll see short primaries on 1-4 2-3 style merges. That's fine.
Usually you'll see longer primaries on 1-2 3-4 style merges. That's fine too.
A 1-3 2-4 merge style is effectively the the same as a 1-2 3-4 merge style.

It all depends on where you want the power to be and length of primary and secondary has a big part in making your merge style of choice work properly.

Will the pairing on this 4-2-1 header be the best for a 4-1 or will u have to pair a 4-1 different and if so in which pair order as i wanted to modify a 4-1 header
Thanks

From what I've heard and seen...people are using B-series and H-Series Headers on their Ve's? (With a VE Exhaust flange of course)

I have made two headers now for my ve using Honda headers one tri-y and one 4-1. I also have a ssac sr20 header and the Honda ve hybrid is much better.
