I dont believe so, the one above the customer requested the 80mm billet item.
I've posed a few other questions via email, just waiting on a response

i suspect some of the short runners is due to space concerns in some instances, i'm no expert.

Yah, I know, it also keeps the costs way down (don't have to purchase bends, or bend your own, to make things fit).

I believe the stock 20ve/16ve/20de tb is 60mm. I would go with the N1 runners and N1 tb which is 70-75mm or 80mm q45

Buy it and test it, you will be the only one that knows if that IM will make power.

Just do us a favor and test before and after, pref on the same dyno, ideally on the same day.

What i found was that for my motor and the N1 manifold I run out of air around 7k rpm (well velocity goes static) so i can very clearly see the benefit of a custom manifold. Depending on your motor you may see something completely different.

If you want to r&d you gotta pay

If u do that to the VE manifold you will lose power ever where n/a. It would be too short, we test a O2 induction manifold that was made with only the lower part of the VE manifold to the flange. Looked alot like your pics and it didn't work for a N/A VE that short its good for turbo.

tbh i think you should get him to make new runners (get him to make them around 7.5 inches long with around a 1.5-2 degrees tapper) Then make a copy of the ve intake flange so these can be mass produced. I have 2 reasons for saying this:

1; if it does turn out to be a good manifold the yanks will have no excuse but to jump on board right now when their $$$ is so high

2; the standard runner reverse taper sucks

you could maybe even start up a poll or something and give the design specs (or even a prototype if cpc is on board) see how many are potentially interested, then talk to ctp and try and get a discount group buy thing happening or something. Would be great for the community i would think. I have no need for one as i am rwd, but i was thinking of getting the guy who is doing my latest rwd plenum to do a fwd one of the same specs, give a dyno proven difference and basically organise i group buy without taking any cut just to help out the community with a affordable intake plenum. But its a lot of work for me with no intentional benefit.

I think the 02 we test was about 6.5" but I'll have to double check with 5speed he might remember more of the details.

The O2 runners were 5" long. He basically use the lower half of the stock intake manifold and welded on the plenum and air horn.
