DE oil pickup tube on a VE
so i got my ve, then when i got it off the crate i noticed the oil pan was smashed

so i fixed the oil pan, well it does have a small hole but my friends going to take that to work an fix it for me..

then another friend mentioned the pickup tube.. i did think about it, an did look at it but it looked fine.. until i took it off anyways..

so i want to put a DE oil pickup tube on there.. pretty sure it will bolt up, any negitive effects i may want to know about tho?

Pic thanks to Ashton.

Here is the difference in oil pickups. L to R highport, early RR and Late RR. They all differ in height which could affect you in pickup if you stay with the VE pan. I would try to put a wanted ad for a early RR pickup or check some part outs.

Match the pickup with the oil pan. Since you have a 2.0 VE, get the pickup and oil pan from the USDM RR.

The tube diameter is different on the VVL engines. It is the same as a GTiR oil tube diameter. If your tube is messed up, get another stock one from Greg V.
