Hesitation @ around 5k
I am currently having a problem with hesitation @ around 5k rpm. This only occurs @ full throttle & at partial throttle there doesn't seem to be any hesitation. Heres a list of my mods on my 98 200sx:
SR20VE
DE Maf
VE injectors
CAI
Fujitsubo header
Stock exhaust
MSD 6AL
Greddy MSS (activation @ 4800)
G20t ECU (stock)
I checked the voltages @ the TPS (closed & open throttle) and they seem to be within spec. Checked plugs, fuel filter & fuel pump & they all seem fine. If anyone has experienced this, please chime in with what you did to fix it.
Thanks.

You need a tune. It could be your msd box acting up as well.

No, G20t ECU are not tuned for VEs in stock trim. Primeras had VE motors but G20s did not. Only overseas. That is your issue. The ECU is not used to VE injectors (333cc) only stock ones (259cc). When you are trying to kick over ar 4800, the ECU is suddenly getting more air and cannot match the amount of fuel necessary to keep up, which is why it feels sluggish. You need an ECU tuned for the parts. injectors. and MAF you have.

I put back the DE injectors and it runs a lot better now. I originally had them (DE inj. & the car ran fine) in there, but thought I try using the VEs. Thanks for the help.
