The end state is to get it so that the thanks postbit is actually in your post "window", and not below it.

As for looking for posts you've thanked, I haven't really found an easy way to link this (yet).

For now, go to your profile and click on statistics. Scroll down a bit and you'll see the "thanks"...

You'll need different o-rings if they're skinnier, but as far as being shorter, I'm not sure.

I am thinking along the lines of random signature deletion. Those that don't comply eventually will have theirs modified by the staff. Could be a day, could be a month. Who knows? :)
