Thread: K value question

this is the formula i have
(Old INJ Size / New INJ Size) * Old K Value = New K Value
(257cc / 330cc) * 257 = 202 (rounded up)

My first question is:
1. Is my formula correct?
2. Calum used a 257 K value on his base VE tunes, my new value of 202 seems too low. (i know he was not a tuner and just a hardware provider, however i always heard that his base tunes are safe)

also if someone could steer me in the right direction for injector latency i would appreciate it. I am currently running .70ms and i feel that that might just be too big for 330cc injectors.

I thought stock DE injector size was 259cc?

Is that a OBDII ECU? Stock K value for the 259cc DE injectors is 298, not 257. That number you just made up.

0.7ms is correct for VE inj.

Yes it is off of a OBDII ecu. So the correct formula would be (259/330)*298= 234(rounded up)?. That number sounds to be in a much more accurate range.
