Rpm clamp?

Did some more investigation and seems like the only way to log the data with rpm included is to get an Innovate SSI-4 system added on. Wish I knew this upfront. Without data logging it's pretty difficult to tune properly.

What ECU are you using? There has to be a way to get it to log the data.

I'm using a local system called Dicktator.

I don't see any inputs on it that can receive afr data from the innovate. It does do its own data logging, but without matched afr data its pointless.

The innovate also does its own data logging, but without the rpm and load data its also pointess. I need to synch the two logs somehow to get it to be useful.

If the ECU can take a common voltage input (0-5v) and log it, you can make a table that correlates voltage to a real AFR (in excel or whatever) and then use that to work with. Soon you'll know by heart what voltage relates to what AFR and you'll be in business.

Hey guys thanks for all the input. Got the system connected and installed. Was rather easy - as everyone said it would be. I'm glad it's done. Looking forward to getting it tuned now after it's run in. Might end up buying an innovate data logger as well.

heres a little vid of how it works in my dash. I don't know how to embed the video though.

You are supposed to wait for the (heater) HTR to clear BEFORE turning the car on. This is so the WB sensor lasts longer, according to innovate.

I'm pretty sure it's the other way around. According to the innovate instructions you're NOT supposed to heat up the sensor before you start the car. Escpecially if the car is cold, because there might be condensation in the exhaust and the cold water and vapour will hit the hot sensor, causing it to fail prematurely.
