TunerCode comes with a WEALTH of information with the license purchase, I just got a forum up and running which all questions for TunerCode and NismoTronic can be addressed.

I am doing some final testing with the logging today on my brother's car, (my consult cable broke last week). Hopefully we have some more good news for you guys soon!

You can register here and all new information will be posted when it comes time! Also ask any question you would like about the firmware/software and we will be glad to answer any concerns.

IMO, at the moment the most complete software for the tuner is Nistune.
It has some limitations but for the tuner is the best option at the moment because of the great range of ecus it supports.

Maybe tunercode is more advanced for the ecus it supports but has very limited range at the moment.

I love the look of Nistune, and the fact it has Ostrich and Innovate support built in, also the list of Nissan address files is impressive.

Only thing is, its nearly $300 NZD to buy the reg code, and the trial version cuts off prettty much just as ive got the adress files and bin image loaded, but what i have had a few seconds playing with is awesome. I dont know how, but i want Nistune.

I think I get it now (call me stupid). I have the VE ECU with daughterboard with 2 sockets. I buy 2 Ostrichs 2.0 and those connect via a "blank" chip onto the daughterboard. Then we connect a laptop with Nistune to the Ostrichs and start tuning. The Ostrichs is like a replacement for the EPROM chips so we can tune realtime.

Yeah thats right. Im still testing how well the ostrich's work with the ve daughter board, got them working the 1st time i tried, but only did a very basic run, then wouldnt work well the 2nd time, now cant get them to emulate at all to it. The sr20ve daughter board from Japan runs some different electronics to some others.

Tried to connect them to a sr20ve ecu on the weekend, no go. When i 1st tried them on s sr20ve ecu, map trace and all other data worked just as it did on the p10 style daughter board.

So i tried them on my p10 tonight, and no go.

Looks like something in the emulators has died, and was dying when i tried to tune the sr20ve. The emulators receive the bin from tunerpro, and are keeping it, just not transfering it to the daughter board.

Sigh, looks like its back to burning chips for me. Hoping their support can get back to me, and if its not something silly ive done, that its a hardware issue they will cover under warranty, post to USA and back is going to take ages tho.

This is strange because I have black on white from Moates that the Ostrichs works on VE ECU equipped with daughterboard. And Bill Nakos uses this solution aswell so might be something with your equipment then?
