Link G4 PLugin Standalone Tech.
Hey all!
heres a short wrap on my link G4 plugin install into my VZR.
This link plugs directly into Distributed FWD harness headers. Heres a short rundown of features:
# Up to 6D fuel and ignition mapping
# Precision closed loop cam control (four cam, independent control)
# Sequential fuel delivery
# Digital triggering, all OEM patterns
# OEM idle hardware supported
# 5D boost control with three switchable tables
# Motorsport features - antilag, launch, flat shift
# Continuous barometric correction (on board)
# CAN port
# QuickTune - automated fuel tuning
# Individual cylinder correction
# USB tuning cable included
# Stats recording into on-board memory
# Gear compensations for spark, boost and fuel
# Real time selectable dual fuel, ignition and boost maps
# Sync and crank sensors can be a combination of Hall effect, variable reluctance or optical
# Boost control referenced to gear, speed or throttle position
# Up to 4MB internal logging memory
# Staged injection
Also support 8 injectors ( so i can run dual banks of injectors and have different maps for them. Dual solenoid support for vvl (direct 100% plugin for VZR harness). On board 2.5bar map sensor, but i tune my main map on TPS with 4D trim done by map.
Ill be overlaying my original tuned dynograph from my nistune with my link here very soon to give you some idea of the difference a good ecu can make. After playing with these for the past 8 months, ive really seen how easy they make tuning. Each week i get to install and tune 2-3 units - and i can honestly say there is nothing on the market easier and simpler to play with as an overall pacakge that is this powerful!
Here is a full run down of the features the plugins offer ( waaaay to many for me to list or are relevant :P)
