Urgent hotel registration information
We will be staying at the Cambria Suites at the Savannah Airport. The number is 912-965-9595 and our group code is “SRTN”. The front desk should be able to help you as long as you tell them you are with the SR20 group. We secured a rate of $109 per night for either a single king or double queen suite. All suites have a sofa bed in the living room as well. The breakfast buffet is also included in our rate. The convention rate is valid for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday depending on your travel schedule.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOTE: We have secured this rate for everyone who registers by January 27th, 2009. After that date, reservations will be accepted on a space availability basis at the standard rate of $129 per night. We did this for 2 reasons. First, we did not want to guarentee paying for rooms that went unused. And second, the hotel wanted time to rent the rooms that we did not use. Remember that you don't pay until you arrive, so get your reservations in now.

we realize expedia.com orbitz and cheaptickets.com all have rooms at that hotel for 104/night?

but think you have to pay upfront online.

Yeah you normally do... So say I don't go I can just cancel and not have to worry about paying correct. It all depends on the car being done or not so thats why I ask.

my guess is if you call, you'd have to reserve with a CC and if you dont show, you'd be charged a fee, instead of room price.

I can reserve the room prior to registering for the convention, right?

AND see if any of the dotcoms are including breakfast for everyone registered for your room each day (normally $9.95 each) and 1 beer or glass of wine for everyone registered over 21 for each day of your stay. I'm sure they're throwing all of that in for you, right?
