If you were able to make an account, you can find the search button. It is the word labeled "Search" in the upper right hand corner of the main home page.

I did not edit anything nasty, you did. That is the difference, welcome to the forum...

The fucked up thing about this is I was pretty damn nice to this new member of the community if we can think of all the other ways some members have and will continue to berate new members here when they ask some pretty crazy questions.... I'm just saying.....

First of all, if we get the same question over and over again, we wont want to reply to it as quickly as you would like. Second you are the one with the issue, not us, we are under no obligation to help.

This goes back to the first item, if we don't want to answer to the question because it's been covered plenty of times, the thread will sink and needs to be bumped up politely.

Sure bumping like you did worked, but wow, I'm surprised you were even willing to accept our worthless answers.

Other then that, welcome to the forum. We love helping people that help themselves. Also you posted in the Sentra SE section, these cars are some of the rarest (Compared to other SR20's), thus there is not enough traffic here. Try posting in General section next time .

once again all information I DIDNT KNOW. I said thank you to the people that helped me, the condescending comments saying I need to be spoonfeed info was not needed or very nice. i did search and didnt find what i needed so i started a thread and asked a simple question. after about 50 people looked at it and didnt respond i got a little irritated. my bad. i'm sorry. i got nothing else to say beyond that. If you think i'm an asshole or whatever thats fine i dont care i just like my SE and i want it run good like any normal person. it's new to me but used and i am somewhat new to the sr20 but i've always wanted a Silvia so i'm not completely retarded. no one is under obligation to do anything but apparently new members arent so welcome if they are uninformed. sorry if I offended anyone with my attitude or ignorance(about cars or forums) but when my car feels like its going to shut off at idle i get a little worried. sorry.

i was reading about different engines strength's and weaknesses in something like "wiki" and the sr20 reads something like "nearly unbreakable, only spins bearings and suffers from shitty idle problems".

i'd say everyone in this forum has had your current problem.but the causes are endless.iacv, egr, throttle body, air leaks, electrical gremlins, bad leads, sparkies. more stuff than you can read about.

op: put your car into timing mode then raise the idle via idle adjustment screw on the passenger side of the car
