Wanna be internet bully? Nope, just me being me.

You may not care about my opinion but speak for yourself Chuckles. Further, when you open a thread, you are asking for opinions and everyone gets to chime-in. That is how forums work.

Again with your pity-party. That and your defensive bullshit is what caught my attention in the first place. Let me repeat, I'd have ignored this thread without you, yes you, and your whiny, defensive attitude.

"I didn't get the exact responses I wanted, everybody is reading comprehension challenged, just close the thread." ......

Do your thing. Knock yourself out. Whatever makes you happy.

I have 17s on my B13 and they look great. I like 18s on a B14 but it is not for me I would stick with 17s also.

Dre, it has nothing to do with fashion. It has everything to do with performance.

At the same time, everybody makes concessions and compromises when building a performance-oriented street ride. Some for aesthetics (big wheels), some for budget, some to be different, some just for the helluva it.

18's really? Way too much rim for such a small car.

Shawn I highly enjoy your opinions so keep them coming.

I admit it

Not a B14, but you get the point...

I probably did go a little far back

Car does look great on those wheels. A b13 can pulled it off but not sure about a b14

Its not about thinking outside the box or being stuck. Just some of us know what works and what doesn't. (this is not directed towards you ) I also like to see people on our forum try new things out

Who is this one guy who decided to run 15? Thats great you have 17 on a b13 and I'm sure it looks nice! But again this thread is about 18's on a b14

Unless your going for show, bigger wheels on these car is probably gonna hurt the way it rides and handles and make it a hell of alot slower. If looks are more important, then your driving the wrong car to want 18's on it IMO
Please post a recent pic of a b14 with 18's that looks good to prove me wrong

And I am a fan of 18 wheel myself, just not on a b14.

18's on my b15 from 10 years ago

and my Matrix I had 6 years ago

And to the OP, don't let my opinion and some facts get in the way of you throwing 18 on a b14, go for it, and I hope it works out for you. But you can't say we didn't warn ya 18's back in the day was the cool thing to do on small import cars, but then we realize it wasn't anymore

I think you should go for it. I would personally never go bigger than 17s on my b14, but that doesnt mean the 18s wont look good on yours.

Waste of time and money. Not only is it a dated look, but it makes the car less fun to drive. It's the worst of both worlds. To me, it falls into the ricer category.

In case you haven't picked up on it, we discourage riceism on the dash.

I wouldnt say its dated especially with the fitment trend going around.

I for one love big wheels. I am and I have always been a fan of 17" wheels. I now have a set of 15's I will be running but, I am saving up for some nice 17's for my Classic.

It's all a matter of what the owner of any car likes. I for one am not a fan of 15's but if someone wants to put them on go ahead. My car looks good and rides good with 17's so that's what I run and I'm still using some eibach pro-kit springs from 1995.
