Finally back together after 2 years.
After some catastrophic damage to my old built det, Ive been collecting parts and between me and a good friend, (nismo94tuner) we finally got this thing back together. I'd be lying if i said i haven't seriously thought about giving up and just selling the car but after driving it again i don't think it's going anywhere soon.
We started out picking up a clean VE from the engine depot. When it got home the first thing we did was rip the head off and sent it to the machine shop to have it decked to make sure it was true and straight. Before we threw the head back on a ve-t metal gasket and arp studs went in.
I also managed to get my hands on a tubular mani that i believe was once keo's, gregv hooked me up with an xcessive plenum and elbow and bes had a q45 TB laying around so naturally it found it's way on my motor
Then this came in..
PTE 6262 .82 backside
I have another friend that does body work and he pretty much told me he would be-friend me if i didn't let him paint the bay so he went to town.
After a new fx500 and a resurfaced flywheel she went in.
dougfab made me a rail and we ran stainless braided line to and from the rail and regulator. The rail fit the id's just right.
A little sloppy still but she's in and running.. part throttle and idle is great.. car should be going up to marsh in about a week for a tune
All cleaned up..
