I gotcha. The reason I ask is because I was planning on doing a similar setup eventually. I'm still trying to get my B13 running with it's stock setup but when I go for a full on built setup I was planning on doing a similar setup as you (stock VE but with built internals which now i'm second guessing if it's worth it or not, log manifold and a 6262 on ~25psi on high boost). I look forward to following this thread and hopefully getting some of those pics to add to my wallpaper... haha

You are dead on Bes. The car is down on power especially at 18 PSI. With the new down pipe that alone will let it flow better. The set up at the boost level should be in the 450 whp range.

Oh ok I didnt know that my VE isn't even turbo yet but I'm running a 3" exhaust system from the header back lol I cant wait to see some more results on this car after all the little bugs and setbacks are resolved.

I tried convincing him bro, lol. He has a set of Eagle rods sitting. I told him a 540$ set of pistons and 150$ bearings and make some real power. But then comes the 6 speed swap cost on top of an AEM. I'll keep trying to convince him.

Very nice setup. Very simple and nothing wrong with taking a stock bottom ve to 450-500 as long as the tuning is there which hes in good hands.

Didnt JK finish up the Speed Density on stock ecu? If so you could look into going that route as well instead of spending all the coin on the AEM. Keep up the good work guys.

Nice work, Vvl bottom end will handle 450whp. You've got the setup to make it with ease.
I'm trying my hands on wAtermeth myself now on my car.
Trying to see the difference between e-85 vs meth on my setup.
