If u have a worn hub and reuse it with the new bearings that could be your problem.. I replaced the whole hub assembly with new bearings and seals on both front.. 2 years now and no issues and I drive my car 140 miles a day round trip to work and back...

However I did once replace my front bearing with the same old hub and it was a bit worn at the end and lasted 8 months...

Learning? Lol! Not to sound like a dink but I could do a wheel bearing on a b13 in an hour, probably a lot quicker with a lift and air tools....blind folded. Haha :-D

I was just certain it was the right side and although I checked the right axle nut and both sides lugs, I was so sure it was the right side I didn't even question the left.

But you're right for sure, lesson learned the hard way yet again. I'm just glad I've got a 2nd vehicle and enough sense to drive it.

I like that saying though and with that said, I think I took a gram of prevention towards a ton of cure when building my motor, lol! I recall installing my s4 cams and literally sweating I was so nervous! I had never installed cams before and I read all the horror stories of them snapping. Let's just say THAT was a learning process for sure. Everything resulted just fine in the end.
