15x7 +25
Anyone running this size rim on a Classic? Hopefully with a 225 or 205 tire.

I am not a wheel fitment guru by any means. I guess the simple question is will they fit nicely?

Thanks

Yes they will.

No issues with a 15x7 25ET. They'll fill the wells much nicer than b14 wheels. Closer to flush fender fitment without sacrificing any suspension performance.

I had some 15x7 +15 and they were flush to the fenders.

Thanks guys. After searching online I figured they would fit. I am about to pull the trigger on a set of wheels so I figured I would ask.

I currently run 15x7 +26 up front with 225/45/15 tires with no issues at all (RM springs). Up front you can get away with a lot. My tire sidewall is flush with the front fender or maybe it pokes the tiniest bit, and I'm okay with that.

In the rear, 15x7 +26 with either 225/45/15 or 205/50/15 and the RM springs and rolled rear fenders I had rubbing during moderate bumps or with passengers in the rear. Bringing the wheels in another 6mm to +32 fixed all the problems even with the 225/45/15 tires. I highly recommend +32 in the rear and feel it is the perfect offset for the back if you're willing to roll the fenders.

(This is all with stock alignment or as close as possible with the drop.)

Edit: These are the best pics I have showing the fitment I described above. (The front gap is so large because the engine/transmission are not in the car in both pictures. The front tires tuck in a bit when the weight is in there.) Sorry for giant pics. If I link them, they behave stupidly so I picked the lesser of two evils.

The wheels were flush? So the tires poked out a bit right? Or did you do a stretch?

Thanks for the info Ben.

I plan on running a 225 50 15 drag radial up front and a 205 50 15 street tire in the back. I really hope I do not have to roll my rear lip. I am not a fan of that at all.

From my experience, you're going to be in trouble in the back. You'll notice the rear fender lip cutting shallow slices into your upper sidewalls with those tires and that offset. =/
You won't hear the rubbing so much as see the damage on the tires.

I think you're just about perfect up front.
