Looking for opinions on a color scheme
I am prepping the Classic for track duty (not competitive, just hpde work) and I'm looking to add some color. She is still stock Vail White. I reacquired my powder coated 6UL's from Wes. Pics from last year:

Here is a better idea of just how red these wheels are:

This is a series of ideas of what I am considering that I did in MS paint. My first thought was Blue:

Then Brighter Blue:

I tried Black and really liked it:

Black has the advantage of being available in both flat and matte (semigloss) shades and seems easier to do for the total newb painter (me). I then played with a series of accent stripes.

First up was red, which my concern would be getting it to be the same as the wheel color:

I tried yellow accent:

And finally blue accent:

I don't feel like a color scheme this time, I think that it looks great just as she sits

If I was going to drive on the streets, I would be in total agreement. It has advanced way beyond that point now. No a/c, stereo, back seat, or door panels. I've got an Auto Power roll bar going in. It is all for fun moving forward. It needs to look more the part.

I'd rather go with a Datsun color scheme instead

I've always wanted to go blue and orange. Ever since they were my high school colors

That picture was where I started my thinking from. I tried something similar following the crease lines and like the look, but I don't know if I can pull that off in my driveway:

Please remember, I has no paint skilz

Black top, white bottom. But that's my opinion,it looks better plus it goes with the red well.Any other color will make the wheels look out of place.

LOL - The wheels are definitely not an FSU red and 2 different reds wouldn't work imo. The kamikaze was so last year.

I was playing with this tonight and looked at another option that I am going to try. It's simpler and I think I like it, especially with a carbon fiber hood and trunk on the way.

It looks acceptable with street wheels as well:
