sunny 4fog and tsuru headlight question
i was just curious to know how people were wiring up their fogs and headlights.

the way i was planing to do it was run the day time runners in the headlights, and the foglights to the foglight switch and also splice them into the highbeams. i am going to wire the head lights (with HID low beam only) into the low beam wires

the purpose of that is so i can drive with all the lights on if i wanted to, or drive with just the corners, day time runners, and fogs on or just the headlights and corners. any other sugestions? pix would help thanx guys/gals

i just ran it super simple. Original side markers were hooked up to the day time bumper lights. (outside fog lights) the center fogs were hooked to the OEM switch. So parking lights consisted of Corners, Center Tsuru's and Out side foglights.

i was considering running the outside fogs into the blinkers. also does anyone know the bulb type for the outside sidemarkers on the 4fog? i want to get some blue bulbs for them today as well as blue bulbs for the blinkers

nope not yet.. still waiting for a nice day.. seattle weather does suck! I thought about running the outside fogs as blinkers but would look weird blinking, they are 1196 bulbs single filament. Also make sure that your harness works correctly, i had an issue with my JDM harnesses not working with my car so i had to hard wire all my lights on the bumper. Another idea for the outside fogs are to add relays so they turn on while signal is on and turn off after, i believe this is how the OEM was setup to do.

thats true, but im going to have a rear foglight on my car that i want to work in-tune with the front fogs. the side markers may look good with them wired up to the stock sidemarkers and have the fogs wired up to the stock fog light switch like you did. i would just assume it would be easier if i can find a way to make the fog light switch work even if the headlights are not on. the day time running lights will also be wired up to the OEM side markers. its just i have HID's in my headlights and fogs and i dont want to put that much stress on the altinator/battery all the time, i would like to be in charge, you know? you wouldent happen to know how to run the foglight switch to be independant would you?

Nope no idea. i never really used my fog light switch until i got this front bumper. IDK if its the same as the B14 fog light mod. If anything try to trace the wires from the switch. I'll try to get pics up tomorrow if possible. keep your eye open in the member rides.
