TIP: b13 brake line FYI for DIY
for those that cant flare a steel brake/tranny line for shyt like me, but can build and swap a motor(like me).....LOL.....this is some good info.
a month ago today, i blew out my rear drivers side brake line. i finally got motivated to tackle the job a month later today. i hate brake lines, and refuse to pay a shop! in completing the job and bleeding the line, the new pressure blew out the parallel routed rear passenger side line. so i did that one too. better on jack stands than infront of a child in the road! so heres the tip: two 4 foot sections with a union for the rear drivers side, and three 4 foot sections with 2 unions for the rear passenger side work absolutely perfect! my bends arent exactly OEM, but pretty close. i didnt need to put in extra bends to make up space, and i didnt come up short. i went from the distribution block under the hood to each rear caliper, and i got the lines in the clips along the chassis. allz well now and working perfect! id perfer a solid line without a union failure point, but i spent $30 in parts rather than $300 at a shop!!! now i boooost again!

Good to know man. My lines are at the 18years old mark. I project them to die within the next year or two thanks to the rust machine that is ohio.
