walbro install/fuel gauge incorrect
i have recently finished my loooong awaited turbo project. i installed the walbro 255 only a few weeks ago. in the last week i have filled my fuel tank twice now. the first time the gauge didnt read full after i filled it. i noticed it down the road. i just assumed the pump did the automatic shut off thing and i didnt top it off as usual. the 2nd time, i made damn sure it was full, pullin the pump trigger till fuel overspilled from the filler neck. got back in my car and drove away, and the same thing. the needle sits just below the full mark. with the inconsistancy of the low fuel light in our b13's i am weary of my actual fuel level when it is low compared to when it is full. the new boosted motor is sucking fuel more than ever, so i am unsure of actual fuel level when the needle gets low. any ideas? i installed the walbro just as the oem pump came out. did i mess something up?

I've heard that the sensor itself can get stuck up so it doesn't read right, but I'm not sure how much truth there is to that. Did it work before the fuel pump? And how long was it sitting around before you refilled it the first time?

So it's working and raising and lowering, it's just not raising as high as it used to (above the full line)?
