Sadly I only have old school speakers to test fit. New speakers I believe are 6.5"/6.75" universal and might have a harder time fitting.

If your speakers come with a mounting ring (to put the grill on) then the ring should bolt down no problem and the speaker to the ring, maybe drilling a lil into the metal bracket back there.

I am only going to run a front stage, so I guess I'll never know

Actually, you have a good point. If you have good speakers up front, there is no need for a rear stage... especially in an NX where you have close to no rear cabin space.

I have 6" 1/2 JL audio components in the back and the same size can fin it the front door with just a slight mod. Components i think the components are the way to go when it comes to factory replacement but cost a bit more, My rear speakers cost me $488 for the pair but sound great i cant wait to put 2 more in the front.

dude let me tell you a lil secreat. i have worked around audio shopes basically helping in instals and s h i t. i have seen the actuall prices of the items they buy from there carriers.. im telling you u got robbed cause i know you did lol...

i got top of the line kenwood excelon stuff. everything in my car is kenwood excelon and i probably paid half the price on everything that i got. your speakers probably only cost them about 200 dollers there price. the RA price or whatever they call it is the middle price like if you want to give a discount then they have a third price that they recomend you sell it at which they can go by or sell higher
