Thread: EDM Roof spoiler

If you guys would also like an EDM roof spoiler in carbon fiber........send it to my shop. I can have my guy make a mold. But it will take some time. But than you would be able to get both spoiles from one place

Sniper571 i could send you mine. It doesnt have mounting screws, and after prepping it for paint , we noticed that the poly or rubber that it is construted out of had some craking going on. It is suposed to be flexible but from what we figured u would always be able to see the cracks unless you just used it for the purpose of a fg mold or cf mold.

Its the factory edm one, and i already have it in the states in WI. LMK
IU would be down for an fg one or cf one. These are very heavy from the factory being urethane or whatever.

There are some M4 screws that hold it to the chassis. I know they are not M6 cause thats a 10MM head. These were 8mm. 4 of them That and double sided tape. You gotta drill mounting holes on the roof. You don't HAVE to but I did anyway.

might there possibly be 2 different versions, the later having no mounting screws? i'm not sure but i think i may have seen that somewhere. i will research and let you know what i find. and i would love to have an extra one, as i have 2 NXs.

Unfortunately, one of the cars that had the EDM spoiler on it, had been scrapped before I could remove the spoiler. So now I only have the one spoiler, and hawaiiaNX has dibs on it. Sorry guys.

I'd like to just get a straight fiberglass one - so I can colourmatch it to my car. I want a reasonable flash not 'steal me' flash.

You can still paint carbon fiber.....so color matching would not really be an issue

and if you'll need this one for a mold, just let me know and i can ship it to you. i would love to see more NXs rockin' these, carbon, fiberglass, whatever.

How many of you would be interested in a carbon fiber roof spoiler?? Here is the deal....If you sent it to me, obviously I am covering the cost of making the mold and all that fun stuff. I will also help out with shipping. I just need to know if there is enough interest.

What is a price point that everyone is thinking? I know this sounds kind of odd, but it needs to reasonable to you and me. People will only pay a certain amount. If I can get a general idea it would help.

I was kind of thinking it will be more than $200 for sure for a carbon one (either roof or rear deck), but price ceiling im still milling over

i would be in for a fiberglass one i would do cf but imma paint it and wouldnt want to paint that cf sexyness after i get the body squared away i might be in for a cf one as well id pay 175 for fg and 300 for cf but what ever the price id be down
