Thread: Got my b13 back heh...

Hai guyz! I have been a sentra owner for a few years now and am loving it. Some of you may know me from a different sight. I drive an 03 spec

Nothing special here. I/H/E bsr, lightweight crank pulley


So I had bought a pretty nice b13 E a while back. I had originally planned on doing an sr20 de or ve swap. Well I ended up rear ending a trailer hitch and lost the passion for doing anything with it. Ended up selling it.



Meanwhile things in QR world have been heating up lately. I got to thinking how bad ass a 220hp spec13 would be. After regretting selling my old b13 I searched around and realized 2 door b13's are rare!
I ended up buying my old one back and here I am. Not going anywhere fast with this project as finances are tight with saving up to get out of the pos apts and raising a one year old son.

Still a cool car man. I have a Ve swap and love it! I think there are a lot more parts needed to swap a non SE-R isn't there? If youre looking for a DE tranny flywheel and pressure plate I've got one for sale comes with all the hardware and clutch cable. Ran good when I took it out. Congrats on the buyback!

Yeah it's probably more involved than an sr swap ffs. Talking with Joe at 2jracing, who has done it already, basically everything from the b15 swaps over to the b13 except the k member which requires longer bolts and some sort of plate welded on. I guess the plate is for the motor mount idk. But I have the b15 so if I really wanted I could shell it out to make this happen. I don't want to scrap the b15 yet though. Guess if I go around rear ending trailer hitches it could happen though lol

I have the feeling that people will be seeing more and more of the qr swaps coming to this platform. Not the greatest swap candidate but could arguably be one of the funnest. Plus the 6 speed is pretty much the best haha
