Thread: custom center console

has anyone built one? i was thinking of putting one in the back seat against the original console.



sorry, its a little dirty, havent had a chance to vacume.
but i was wondering if anyone has had any luck building one? preferably one that can be closed with a lid? possible back seat cupholders in the back?

You could try a B15 one, as they have them back there.

I wana build off the existing one; so that it mounts on the floor what the pics are off. Not in the back seat itself.

That's where the B15 cupholders are for the rear. Look at #7 of this pic

i was looking for something a bit bigger, something that i can store stuff in. almost like a toolbox for a truck, but no where as big. i hope to make something that i can subtlely keep my work tools in.

you can do it over your console

sick. how did you do that? possible cost?

I took the mold of the oem dash but repairing the broken temporarily and then i did it in fiberglass and then I did the modifications to the display and the gauge from scratch to fiberlgass

i spray flat black because if you use normal paint you cant see when you are driving because of the reflexion in the windshield
