You guys are most likely coming in on I-64 from Nashville, and your timing will put you right in the middle of rush hour traffic. Taking that into account, I would probably recommend Cracker Barrel in Caseyville, IL.

Map of Cracker Barrel

Map of Bob Evans

There is also a Bob Evan's just a little East in Fairview Heights. Either of these locations will allow you to stop and eat before getting into much traffic. Once you are ready to leave, it will also allow up to 3 different routes out to help avoid traffic (depending on any back-ups).

The easiest way through is to take I-64 straight through St. Louis, but this is also the busiest. If you have a caravan of any real size, I would recommend going around our outer loop (which is I-255 to I-270 - you can go around to the North or the South). South would be pretty easy until you get into the western side where you could hit a little traffic. I drive around the South side everyday (but I get out of traffic before it gets thick).

Our traffic isn't the worst out there, but it can be a PITA. My recommendations for a meeting spot also depends on if you are meeting anyone from the St. Louis area or anyone coming up from the South (OK, parts of TN, etc).

Joe, feel free to PM me or call, etc; and we can discuss it a little more in depth.

Caravan is going through St Louis, that's why he suggested to stop in Caseyville. No more pills for you today Matt
