Thread: Super Secret Project

So, who here has good movie taking/editing skills? I have a project in mind...and need some help. If my idea comes to fruition, it should be pretty spectacular...but I need a videographer.

Let me know, and we can talk. Obviously, I'd prefer someone local (which is why I posted this here, and not in the Photography section).

I'm trained and proficient in cinematography and editing (although I'm kinda old school with my styles). However, I'm not exactly free, nor motivated or close. =/

If you want to transfer raw video for editing I'm a possibility depending on the project. I have a decent, HD shoulder cam at my disposal if stock video needs to be taken. I don't work with Apple or Adobe products nor in *.mov file format.

Well Ben, first of all...I don't work with Apple either. I used to use photo-shop, but that's obviously not for video. I suppose editing is really the extensive work that would need to be done on this 'project', so being close isn't 100% necessary. And of course, stock footage wouldn't hurt depending on where the plan goes. And old school fits perfectly.

The only area where I have issue is the 'not free' part. I understand it takes time and effort etc etc do do that work...but I'm looking for someone who just wants to have a little fun with something. Not to sound like a cheap-skate...

Oh and, for what it's worth...if we do end up working together on this, and I take footage with my camera, it saves in .MOD format. It's an odd one...and I can't edit it.
