Mazworx SR Head Stud Kit

Mazworx SR Main Stud Kit

We are proud to introduce our line of head studs and main studs for the SR. We have to come to realize that the engagement on the ARP off the shelf ones dont thread into the block completely and not bottoming out so it does not giving enough grab. So with these we developed will be the correct length and actually stronger and better material. We estimate an easy 600hp capability.Main differences between the current ARP head studs and main studs material to the material of our headstud kit.

ARP current head stud/main stud
8740 CHROME MOLY: Until the development of today’s modern alloys, chrome moly was popularly considered a high strength material. Now viewed as only moderate strength, 8740 chrome moly is seen as a good tough steel, with adequate fatigue properties for most racing applications, but only if the threads are rolled after heat-treatment, as is the standard ARP production practice. Typically, chrome moly is classified as a quench and temper steel, that can be heat-treated to deliver tensile strengths between 180,000 and 210,000 psi.

Mazworx Headstud/Main stud material

ARP2000®: An exclusive, hybrid-alloy developed to deliver superior strength and better fatigue properties. While 8740 and ARP2000 share similar characteristics – ARP2000 is capable of achieving clamp loads in the 215,000-220,000 psi range. ARP2000 is used widely in short track and drag racing as an up-grade from 8740 chrome moly in both steel and aluminum rods. Stress corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement are typically not a problem, providing care is taken during installation.

Made from ARP2000 material
12 point
220ksi tensile strength
Straight shank/bullet ends from complete bottom out
Comes with (10) studs, (10) washers, (10) nuts and instructions.

The main studs WILL CLEAR upper oil pan without machining! [/size]

why do you say with your main studs the upper oil pan will not have to be altered for clearence of the studs but ARP studs do, i personally have never seen, heard of, or had this issue. just wondering?

Yeah, i was wondering the same thing. Is the MAZ 11002 and the MAZ 11001 the same part? If not, what's the difference?

Are these american made or imports. Because fasteners is something that i would take a chance on. i know ARP is all american made product with high quality steel with lots of carbon in it which makes it tough as nails. I would love to be your next customer but i would need to know where they are made.

This is an issue with the RWD upper oil pans on the old std ARP studs.
