you can run whatever you want with it, maf, map, tps vs rpm. Its all in the tune. I dont know how plug and play the series 2 is but its not all that plug and play. Mainly because of all the issues with the CAS disk not wanting to read on the aem ems properly so they made the 24-1 disk to eliminate those problems and then you have to setup the ems correctly to run it. If you dont know what your doing with standalones i wouldnt even try it yourself and would take it to someone who knows aem well. If your somewhat of a quick learner you can search through some threads to find out how you need to setup the CAS to properly read the disk, set ignition phasing and timing using the ems to match the map and so on. It takes some learning thats for sure because its all based on setup, if your using a single coil ignition, coil on plug, and so on. Once you learn what each setting means and stands for it gets much easier.
But it is far from plug in and go. lol But yes you can set it up to run different maf sizes which has you chose from a wizzard on what maf your running or if you run map you chose what map sensor your running and it recalibrates the maps accordingly. Stuff like that is simple, its just the initial setup and to get the thing to actually start is a pain in the butt even for those that know what they are doing. Both me and BenFenner went through the same thing doing it ourselves and both of us are pretty good with standalones, not experts by any means but we know our way around it and he helped me alot with some questions I initially had as he went through the same issue and he just did tons of reasearch and learning the system to figure his stuff out.
So I would think twice. Power FC, waste of money, its not an easy system to tune either and is a pain and not many people in the country know how to tune them properly. its more of a Japan used ems than anything. Very popular over there. If your gonna go with one, id do the AEM as there is way more people familiar with it in the states.
