Time for a new head unit
After 15 years and about 6 different vehicles, my Pioneer DEH-M990DSP finally bit the dust... I highly doubt there are any places that would be able to fix it, though I will attempt that route eventually. In the meantime, I need another clean sounding stereo, hopefully with iPhone/iPod controls built in.

Are there any new players that can outshine Alipine or Eclipse? Are they even the best anymore?

I also like how "clean" this looks - i dont' want a flashy looking head unit... something that won't draw attention and look out of place in my car.

I really like the JVC Chameleon line.

Also, don't doubt those cheap Sony ones for $100-120 at walmart... They sound good and have aux input and some have USB input for thumb drives or portable hard drives.

Pioneer MVH-P8200BT Digital media receiver at Crutchfield.com This is what I'm currently looking at for my B14, along with an external hard drive in the glove box.

I have the older version of this headunit for 3 years now and it works great.I bought the optional ipod cable and it charges my ipod while driving too.

Lol, I had an e32 with the v12. Looked great, very fast, very problematic.
