Thread: nx digital gauge wire question

ok i went to lkq yester day and almost fell to my knees when i saw an nx! was hopeing to get some body parts from it and few lil goodys from it but got closer and it looked like a kid cr@ped flame stikers on it painted some globe on the hood banged on the finder ( the one i needed) bent up the drivers side hood and bumper ( not as bad as my pasenger side but still not worth my money). got to the back saw it was a 1600 (about cr@ped my self) got in the car the Interior is blue seats are in good condition lil derty but not bad, T-Tops are locked, dash is good one small star shape crack in pasenger side, radio wireing was dont by a 10 year old for a aftermarket cd player 2 6x9 speakers wired in the trunk seperate from the 6.5s.

saw it still had the digital gauge and thanked the lord. took the intire dash apert was trying to get the whole guage harness but it was geting lil late so went a head and cut the wires for pigtales. brought it home to decide to sell or keep it. got the wire diagram and saw some diferinces.

so im wondering what this og2 lil black box is loocks like maybe tern signal clicker but thats under the dash right? has green/white going to the harness and red/blck wire going to same coler wire from black plug,

the red/bluwire from the yellow plug is connected to same coler wire from black plug

and the yellow plug has 4 wires coming from the center (2 going to the harness and 1 crossover wire tecknicly 3 total) of it that dont look like it connects to enything in the dash (no leads) yellow/grn crossover wire, and 2 yellow wires to the harness. dont look like i could ground enything or power enything

i know some leads and wire need to be put in some of the plugs and thats fine but extra wires is crazy exspecely if the dont do enything

no one knows enything about this? the wires are connected for a reason u cant tell me i need to just rewire the whole thing only to what the diagram says. i just went and picked up anouther pigtales to use for the leads i need, bulbes for the missint ones and the lil cards with the warnings from a g20 dash

the black box attached to the back of the dash is the annoying buzzer for your doors being open i think that's what it's for, it's annoying either way what ever it's for???

And the three yellow 20 gauge wires do not connect to anything just tape em up!!!

oh ok then i probubly wont connect it if it wont make eny diferince and just take out the yellow wires that dont connect to eny thang i just thaough it was odd they had the wires like that thanks man for the info

but do i just leave the red wire connected from the yellow plug to the black one or just rewire to the diagram specs sorry if all this sounds dumb when i have a wire diagram but i just want to make shure before i do enything

the dimmer switch on the vehicle is not used i believe the dimmer is built into the digital dash... thats just a guess
