components suck get an 8 ohm speaker (beyma, audiopipe, whipaudio) and a good set of tweeters and you will be good

Due to overall depth of speaker locations, I'm limited quite a bit. I could run spacers, but don't want to if I don't have to.

This I think will be the final:

No rear fill
Either repair my CD7000, or go with the CD5030. (If it's less than half the cost of the CD5030, no brainer).
Morel Ovation 6's components for front sound stage
eD eu700's for bass - forward/upward firing under/in front of driver/pass seat
Raamaudio deadening and cell fill (WRX specific instruction)
2 EA JL 300/4 amplifiers - One for active front, second bridged for each eu700
1 EA XXXX Mono D class for LFE
1 EA 12" (or 10") LFE driver, in custom fit and finish box in rear hatch area

This will give me a true 4-way soundstage. Should be plenty, and I'm not worried about passengers not getting audio from the door, since I rarely play the stereo at audible levels with any passengers.

Oh yeah, and your remark about "components suck", I may be saying components, but I'm not referring to passive components. I'm referring to active (amplified xover t/a) components, driven by the 4chan amp. Same thing as you saying driver and tweeter, I guess.

For LFE, I've decided on the SI mkIII

Stereo Integrity | Home

This thing is being raved upon as the best shallow mount subwoofer EVER. Worth a shot, and for the price and the fact that it's THE BEST EVER, I can't go wrong.

LOL Thanks Alex. I was going to hit you up when I started deciding about this stuff. I'm going to need some install help if you're down to hit up MD and get some room and board

I also have to comment on the polk's putting out a unbelievable sound at high volumes without distortion especially compared to speakers priced much more.

As for subs there is SOOOO much out there that sounds similar, so I think it really will come down to space preference and budget..imo

btw I am a fan of one nice, well powered 10.

be sure to post pics, because i am also looking to build a nice SQ system for my sentra.
