We used a huge drill bit (same to drill oil drain in a DE block) to drill a hole in my firewall, right above my pedals. Ran every in-car device through that hole. Used a rubber grommet to protect from sharp edges. Worked out great!

It's not near the fender, this is on a b13, it's kinda below the heater core and stuff. I have my gauges where my radio used to be. I consider pillar gauges a sign to thieves that says "I HAVE COOL STUFF STEAL ME". They also take away from the sleeper effect, but I think I could have a parachute on my car and people still wouldn't take it seriously.

i have tinted windows..and my car isnt pretty at all..looks like a beat up piece of crap on the outside..haha..all stock looking..not even a fart can or any type of exhaust..lol
