power window problems
So I've been noticing this over the past few months and its been getting progressively worse, but when I put my passenger window down it goes normal speed, but when I go to put it up it seems to go slower everytime, and just now it almost wouldn't go up, it took a good 45 seconds
.
I tried searching and came up with nothing, does the track on the window regulator need to be greased, or is the motor going, btw my g/f car is doing the same thing
.
My car is a 96 200sx se-r, and my g/f is a 2000 mitsubishi galant
.
Any ideas?

most likely motor is going. On a B14 you have to replace the whole assembly since it is a cable style.

Im having a simular issue, only its both my driver and passenger window. They were working, going up little by little. The motors sound fine, its the switches im thinking are the problem.
I just tried to put either window down and got no reponse at all! Im thinking the NX is leaking a little and the switches are fried. Find the relay box and check the relays as well. If the georgia heat lets up a little im going to check mine tonight before I hit the pull a part yard.

I purchase a set of switches and power regulators to resolve my problems..
Search NX partouts for parts.
Note: NX regulators/switches are unique and different from other Nissan power window parts.

Sounds like the motor is going out. Pull the door panel, unplug the motor and hit the up switch and verify that it's getting around 12volts, if it is then you'll need a new motor. And I can tell you right now that the mitsu needs a new motor, the ones in those cars are junk.
