Thread: alarm problem

After my engine swap the 2-way alarm is not working properly on my car, the blinking led in the car stays constantly on and on the screen on the key fob there is a hammer and wrench symbol on and it flashes when I lock and unlock the doors,

Usually when I hit the lock and unlick button on the remote the horn beeps but its not doing that now, also when the doors are locked with the remote and I open the door with the key the alarm used to go off but it doesn't anymore

Any ideas where to start? the siren and horns all work when I use a wire and jump them, and all the fuses are fine, keyless works fine, starter disable works, all of the wires are connected

anyone know of a good place that troubleshoots car alarms?
