Thread: Alarm Siren extention wire?

I upgraded my alarm siren to one with a battery backup and placed it in a new location. Problem is, the wires don't reach. The new siren uses a 4 wire -wire. (a single wire with 4 wires inside)
Does anyone know if DEI makes carries an extention kit?

The battery back up siren from DEI needs power, ground, siren power, & siren ground. Any wire will do, they do not make an extension wire so just use anything you have. Just make sure you hook it up according to the directions.

you can extend your wire as long as you need it to be,,, there is NO resistance on that wire,,, just be sure to make your connection is done right and you won't have a problem....
