Thread: what speed your GTi-R goes on each gear ?

What are you on about?

forget i do a research and that tranny are from bluebird first gen they have a short gear ratio.. they can be fit on GTi-R but not the final gear.. its a good option
1st 3.40
2 2.0
3 1.33
4 and 5 are same.
final are 4.333 but i think they no are compatible with gtir 3.7 rear ratio..
i have 5 AWD tranny and today i open another and they have same GTi-R spec
so i have 2 short gear ratio tranny and 1 gti-r normal.. need to open the others.
so... im planning to shorts gears on GTi-R tranny.. they are compatible.

u said 5th will go to 171mph...... i know this to be false!

He did say highly theorectical so he is not claiming it to be fact. Its a rough estimate which is good for any one to start with until exact number can be obtained through correct methods.

yes i know, but i said it won't go that high... i have two Gti-r's.... and room to test it... it don't go that high....

and i wasn't trying to argue or dismiss him.... just doesn't go up that high....
