Thread: High beams acting up

I have been having a problem with my Hi beams dimming back to normal on there own...intermittently.
The Blue indicator on the dash goes out, too ,so I am thinking the stalk on the steering column is the problem.I can flip them off and back on and they work again for a bit.
Its just annoying,and I wonder if anyone has had this happen before???

Sounds like a bad switch
Also look at the wiring and make sure there is no tears in it.

i have a switch .on the colum...i head light problems and replaced it...and it was working fine,didnt even need to replace it...i just ended up REWIRING the whole set up ,new wires ,toggle switch,everything,but i dont use highbeams....

update.
I found a spare switch I had,and installed it.
Now when I hit the brights,everything goes black
Scared the bejeezus out of my GF coming through the dark ass forest the other night.
There are no city lights or streetlights so it was a hell of a surprise for both of us.

Anybody got a known good switch.?
I am gonna have to put the old one back on for now and deal with the intermittent problem

i had a headlight switch from my nx...idk if i still have it..i replace it cuz i thouhg tit was bad...turns out my wiring was bad and i just installed my own wiring and new toggle for the headlights...

10$ if i can find it...
