High miles. No one cares. I'd be surprised if it brought near $3k.
The $12,250 for the other one was because of the low miles. There is a HUGE difference to buyers...

Yah, I get your point. But the type of people who are on BaT and who would pay a premium for an interesting car aren't looking for an example that's been loved this well.

Well worn from plenty of parking lot molestation, and the touch of overspray on the front left adds mystique. I'd hit it for $2k (maybe $2.3k) fix the stereo and AC, then drive it into utter oblivion.

If it wasn’t for the engine bay and the worn fabric this would be a very decent example, even an excellent example. Remember, these cars are approaching 30yrs old. Over that period, only a handful were treated decently. When is the last time you saw an uncracked dash like that (well for me it was yesterday haha)?

Sold for $2,650. That's about right, but seller gets hit by auction fees. BaT was not the right site for this one.
