Its fine. Your clutch is just engaging at the top of the pedal. Helps you shift a little quicker with less clutch pedal travel.

Right on, I love my car even more right now. I forgot how awesome these cars are, when they are running right. Man I wished I would have fixed this sooner.

As long as there is a tiny bit of air gap between the clutch cable and the clutch arm you're good. Don't want that TOB getting worn out early because the cable is too tight.

How do I check that? I have pictures, but I don't know if they have anything to do with what you are talking about. I'll post them soon.

Your second picture, under the thick, black, ground wire (with yellow stripe) you will find where the end of the clutch cable meets the clutch arm. There is a pin on the clutch cable, and a recess in the arm that accepts the pin. At rest, you want a tiny bit of play between those two, to make sure you're not pre-loading the TOB.

Yeah I know. That's why I keep adjusting it. It needs to be adjusted like every month or so. But it's my daily driver and I beat the fucking shit out of it. Exedy Stage 1 clutch, $278 on Amazon.com. Def recommended. It's gets abused and I have 12k on it, no problems

Well it finally happened today. Clutch cable broke on me, about 20 miles from home. Had to drive in 2nd gear all the way home. How hard is it to replace a clutch cable?
