Eh I dont care much for the spec V seats.

I got a set of Blue Evo 8 Recaros from my buddies car that will be going into mine. I love the Evo 8 seats, they are very comfortable for a bucket/race seat. Reclinable, lightweight, and nicely colored to match the car.

Yeah ill take some pics after I get them in. Should be pretty easy to adapt them to the se-r rails as well.

My buddy switched out all of his interior for Evo 9 MR black leather interior, everything including the seats, steering wheel, door panels, consoles, rear seats, Dash trim pieces.

The blue seats match my car much better.

That is what has always concerned me about switching seats.

Will pretty much any other seat have to be adapted/modified in order to bolt in? Are some seats easier than others to adapt? Do you need a metal fabrication shop (plus skills) to get them installed properly?

I remember that as well. Dark grey cloth, looked superb, but I cannot remember who it was that did it.

I do remember that the guy who put in the 350z seat said that he had to be super careful and precise on his rail modifications in order to make them install at the right height (lower) in his B13. He said the job was not for a newbie at metal fabrication. It is too easy to get the seat at the wrong angle or off balance.

There you go. SER Kyle did them. First post in the thread. Discusses it further in subsequent posts.

DOUBLE EDIT:

Here is "THE" Seat Thread...

Found that link in the other link above. From that link, DBPhillips did the 350z seats as well.

That right there looks absolutely excellent. It is also still a Nissan seat which I like as well. OEM Plus for the win.
